About the Job

We are responsible for the maintenance and development of the municipality's forests, trails, paths, and beaches.

The municipality manages approximately 1300 hectares of forest land where we work with planting and thinning.

We are currently developing a new forest policy focusing on the future of forestry, where continuous cover forestry is an important part. The municipality is currently double certified according to FSC and PEFC.

We also have a large number of trails and paths that require maintenance during the dry season with windbreaks, toilets, boardwalks, and fire pits.

During the summer, we are also responsible for the supervision and maintenance of the municipality's beaches.

The position is varied, practical, and largely outdoors – perfect for you who thrive in an active job in nature.

Job Responsibilities

As a team leader, you will be responsible together with the unit manager for the daily operations and activities.

You will lead, plan, and distribute the daily work and have a central role in building and developing the work team in collaboration with the Employment Service. The work team consists of OSA employees, which means you also have an important role in guidance, structure, and support in the daily work.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who has at least a high school education. If you have forestry education or knowledge of modern certified forestry, it is an advantage.

The position requires good physical fitness, the ability to communicate in Swedish both verbally and in writing, and you need at least a B driver's license, preferably an extended B license for heavy trailers.

We consider it an advantage if you have experience from previous leadership roles.

As a person, you are handy, flexible, positive, responsible, and organized. You are engaged in your work, service-oriented, and have good communication skills. You take responsibility for the whole and contribute to good cooperation with both colleagues and partners.

We place great importance on your personal qualities.
